When Kelly and Wyatt contacted to me to help them with their lovely Isle of Palms home, I was thrilled!  They are one of those couples that you just love to be around as they compliment each other in every way.  Wyatt, a well known songwriter, and Kelly, who has a background in marketing and is launching a casual lifestyle brand, Livin’ Life Man, are a busy couple.  My goal was the help create a functional yet comfortable environment for them to come home to after busy days and tireless travel.

The design of the house is a fusion of Bohemian and Coastal.  This was achieved with the use of driftwood neutrals with pops of jewel tone colors in the fabrics and accent furniture.

The dining room features a custom table hand made by a local craftsman and houses a stunning driftwood top.

The benches that tuck under the table are covered with a rich faux ostrich skin cushion.

Taylor Burke chairs surround the rest of the table and a beautiful Arteriors chandelier hangs above.

Another one of my favorite parts about the dining room is the matching custom built in bar that we had made.  It’s such a wonderful addition to this charming room, and a great feature for entertaining!

The master bedroom was designed with the same concept in mind, pulling out jewel tone colors through fabrics and accents.

Windows are framed with beautiful F. Schumacher fabric panels and one of my favorite parts of this room is the acrylic base bench at the end of the bed.

Thank you to all our amazing vendors who helped me to pull together a fabulous project through your talents!  Also, a special thanks goes out to the photographer, Patrick Brickman.  We love his work! Be sure to look out for next month’s issue of Charleston Home + Design magazine for a full feature of this project!
