We had the pleasure to be a part of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Designer Showcase Home this year and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! For those of you who aren’t local, the Showcase Home is put on by the Symphony Orchestra League of Charleston, and the proceeds go towards student scholarships, which total more than $30,000 annually. The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League’s 38th Annual Designer Showhouse at 50 Hasell Street is an antebellum treasure located in the heart of downtown Charleston. Built in 1846, the parsonage of St. Johannes Lutheran Church is an imposing two-story Single House with double piazzas and fireplaces in nearly all of the spacious, high-ceilinged rooms.
It was for such a great cause and now that this event has come and gone, I wanted to share with you some photos that were taken by one of our favorite photographers, Patrick Brickman.
We were thrilled to have received two rooms in this year’s home. The upstairs sitting room, and piazza. Because the house will be turned into a wedding venue and Inn, we wanted to keep the design slightly feminine and very comfortable as this would be a lovely room for guests to sit and relax after a long day sight seeing or a tiring year wedding planning!

The piazza we designed was on the second floor, and looks out the the stunning new garden in the back yard. Sounds of the water dropping in the fountain immediately creates a relaxing feeling and the gorgeous teak furniture invites you to rest your feet and relax a while.
This was truly a great experience and we are excited for all of the new faces we are seeing coming into the store after the showcase home! As a special thank you and a celebration for the home’s success, Domain Interiors is offering a special 20% off discount for all items that were featured in the showcase home, and 10% off all other pieces in the store including sale items, select art and jewelry! Stop by today through April 30th to take advantage of this great sale!
Cheers!
